This snapshot of the cultural manifestation in Brussels on Sunday 20th against the visit of president Bush, as opening to the street manifestations on Monday and Tuesday, gives a good idea of what the protesters want to say to the president of the United States.
It summarizes, according to the organizers, all the criticisms against the Bush-administration. That it is responsible for crimes against peace and the crimes against international law and the war crimes that come with it; for crimes against human rights and for crimes against the planet; for the organised theft and plunder of the resources of the world. On these levels the politics of president Bush are considered by the protesters and a large part of the Belgian and European public as the worst possible scenario that America, as a world leader, can write out to the planet.
